
MANILA, Philippines — The Marcos administration rolled out on Tuesday its P10 per liter diesel subsidy for public utility jeepneys and UV Express vans in Metro Manila, with 52 gas stations accredited to participate.
Under the fuel subsidy program, qualified PUV operators may avail of a P10 discount per liter of diesel, with a maximum of 150 liters per week, equivalent to a P1,500 weekly subsidy.
The subsidy resets weekly, and any unused amount will not carry over in the succeeding weeks.

Drivers or operators of jeepney and UV Express vans simply need to go to the accredited gas station to avail of the discount, as the facility personnel will only need to check the license plate of the vehicle if it is eligible. No fuel subsidy card or separate application is needed.
